Travis and I went to the marriage retreat at our church. It was held at Camp Weed, in Live Oak. As we drove up to the camp grounds I told Travis, "I feel like maybe we shouldn't be here. We don't have enough married notches on our belt." Yet, we met caring and open couples that ranged from a few years to 20 years of being married. It was a wonderful weekend to just meet and mingle with married couples from our church. We have felt so much out of place for so long. It was a great weekend to connect to people that understand the life decisions and stages that we are going through in our life.
